Abbey Parsons, DVM Veterinarian
Born into a military family, Dr. Abbey Parsons grew up in several locations prior to settling in Georgia. Dr. Abbey has always wanted to be a veterinarian and started working in the field during her undergraduate studies. During that time, her love for the profession grew. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2023 and prior to admission, she attended UGA for undergrad, majoring in Animal Science and Avian Biology. Dr. Abbey strongly feels that pets are members of the family, and if she can help maintain those relationships, she feels she has done her job. Her favorite aspects of being a veterinarian are the ability to help the community, interact with pet owners and she has a particular interest in surgery and feline medicine.
Dr. Abbey has two cats: Tito and Kronk, who are spoiled rotten (as they should be)! Outside of work she enjoys hiking, reading, UGA football and spending time with friends and family.
