Raised on a family farm in rural Alabama, Dr. Hannah was always caring for animals. However, it was on a dark and stormy night at the age of five that she watched as a local vet delivered a baby goat through a very difficult birth. This experience was the first to truly spark her passion for veterinary medicine. As a young adult, she volunteered at clinics and zoos to gain experience and continually kindle her love for animals.
After completing a Bachelors of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University, Hannah attended veterinary school at the University of Florida, where she also achieved a certificate in aquatic animal medicine. To further her training, Hannah recently completed a rotating internship at BluePearl Georgia Veterinary Specialists.
Hannah is a bit of a softy when it comes to her two pampered orange tabbies, Jack and Gracie. In her free time, she enjoys concerts and movies, hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
