Olga Smychkovich, DVM Veterinarian

Dr. Olga was born in Russia and came to this country with her family when she was thirteen. Working with animals was always part of the plan, but she truly became excited about being a veterinarian after working as a veterinary technician for a few years. After graduating from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she spent a year doing an internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists here in Atlanta.

Dr. Olga loves educating clients about wellness and preventative care as well as complex disease processes that might be affecting their pets. Her goal is to partner with pet parents in making decisions about their pet’s healthcare.

Dr. Olga and her husband met at Georgia Tech where they were both working on undergraduate degrees. They have been married since 2004 and have two wonderful boys, Anthony and Alex. They are also parents to a dog Hank, an orange kitty named Chertik, a lab mix Rocky and a newly adopted yorkie mix named George.

As a family they love to travel the world, go hiking, camping, scuba diving and skiing.
